School Visit
This has been given the go-ahead. Ken Griffiths &
Geoff Abbott have kindly agreed to open up and provide a tour. This will
be at 10.30am on the morning of the Re-union. Can everyone make the effort
to attend so that we have a decent turnout.

in 1974 after
moving over here from South Africa. He was at Aberdare
Boys Grammar the last
couple of months Form 3 in 1974, and left after O'levels
in 1976. Now back
living in Cwmdare after returning to South Africa for
a few years - working
for Merthyr Council.

Progress
It was around about 6th October that the idea of a class
re-union was first mooted. Some 8 weeks later, considerable progress has
been made due to the power of the internet and the enthusiasm of everyone
contacted so far. There are now a total of 19 e-mail
contacts and hopefully the list will grow over the coming weeks. We
need to establish "Official" contact with those who are not on-line. You
will be e-mailed today with a list of the known contacts, so that you can
submit their address and telephone details to Andrew Hoggins in respect
of the ones listed against your name. A letter will then be sent to them.
Saturday May 5th 2001
Above is the date fixed for the Re-union. As you know
the Ty Newydd, Penderyn Road Hirwaun is provisionally booked as the venue.
The format has yet to be determined, although a number of alternatives
are under consideration........watch this space.
